In line with the vision of RSS to encourage regional scientific capacity building & networking and in order to support researchers and graduate students in the areas of basic sciences (Biology / Chemistry / Physics / Earth Science) and areas of engineering sciences (civil / architectural / electronic / computer / mechanical or industrial), the RSS welcomes and encourages PhD students in Jordan or abroad to submit their doctoral thesis proposals for evaluation for possible hosting at RSS research facilities.

The RSS has over 25 specialized laboratories in the areas of water, environment, energy and all major engineering sciences which would be availed for use by the selected PhD students in their applied research.

Please note that the Ministry of Higher Education permits Graduate & PhD students studying abroad to spend part of their scientific research in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and in agreement with their respective universities in order to contribute to social and economic development.
