  • A comprehensive understanding of the international standard ISO/IEC 17025, which pertains to the accreditation of calibration laboratories
  • Requirements for calibration certificates and the international traceability of calibration
  • Detailed explanations of the principles behind uncertainty calculations
  • Calibration and verification procedures for force measurement devices, including tensile and compression machines, following the ISO 7500 standard
  • Calibration and verification procedures for load cells in accordance with the ISO 376 standard
  • Calibration and verification procedures for torque wrenches, following the ISO 6789 standard

Mariam Bishtawi is a Senior Specialist in calibration at the Jordan National Metrology Institute with 17 years of experience.
