Overview

Since its establishment in 2005, the Conformity Assessment Centre (CAC) has remained steadfast in providing conformity inspection and certification services, catering to both local and international domains. CAC meticulously inspects diverse products and consumer goods to ensure their alignment with national and international standards, safeguarding the well-being of citizens. Beyond upholding safety, the centre’s services bolster product competitiveness and reduce trade obstacles, playing a pivotal role in fortifying the national economy and increasing exports.

Our Services

  • Installations and systems to assure safety and compliance with standards for:
    • Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) installations;
    • Passenger lifts;
    • Overhead cranes;
    • Lifting tackles;
    • Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPS);

    • Electrical Vehicle Charging Stations;
    • Thermal Imaging for: Electrical panels and rotating machines;

    • Polyethylene pipes for water supply;

    • Construction products;
    • Agricultural chemicals and pesticides;

Accreditation & Certification

The CAC is internationally accredited by ESYD (The Hellenic Accreditation System) according to the requirements of ISO/IEC 17020:2012 and nationally accredited by JAS-AU (Jordan Accreditation System-Accreditation Unit) according to the requirements of ISO/IEC 17065:2012.

Conformity Certification Division

Our Conformity Certification Division, anchored by its dedication to international standards, spearheads a wide range of certification services. From locally to internationally sourced, we certify polyethylene pipes, agricultural essentials like pesticides and fertilisers, and even crucial food products, contributing to standardised excellence.
