Overview

Established through collaboration between the Jordan Standards and Metrology Organisation (JSMO) and the RSS in 2006, the Jordan National Metrology Institute (JNMI) is a beacon of precision. With 14 national calibration laboratories, JNMI safeguards the calibration and integrity of Jordan’s measurement standards. We ensure seamless traceability to international standards, delivering recognised, high-accuracy calibration and measurement services across scientific, economic, industrial, health, and legal sectors.

Our Services
  • Maintain national standards in electrical, physical, mechanical, and medical fields

Accreditation & Certification

JNMI calibration laboratories are accredited according to the standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by the Jordanian Accreditation System (JAS), which is internationally recognized.

Electrical Metrology Division

Accredited and precise, our Electrical Metrology Division offers calibration and measurement services for equipment and systems related to electrical voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, inductance, power, time & frequency, medical equipment, high voltage, luminance, solar irradiance and rotational speed.

Physical & Mechanical Metrology Division

Ensuring excellence, our Physical & Mechanical Metrology Division provides accredited calibration and measurement services for diverse parameters, including temperature, humidity, pressure, force, length, mass, balance, volume, torque, gas detection, medical equipment, Liquid Flow Meters, Gas Flow Meters and Anemometers
